The St. Paul Labor Studies and Resource Center (LSRC) is the Regional Labor Federation’s nonprofit arm and a registered 501(c)(3) organization. The LSRC is part of the AFL-CIO Community Services program, a longstanding partnership between organized labor and the United Way.
Community Services liaisons assist and advocate for union members who live or work in Ramsey, Dakota, Washington and Chisago counties. The LSRC connects union members and their families to community resources during times of financial crises and can provide limited financial assistance through the LSRC’s Emergency Fund.
The LSRC also partners with labor organizations to provide strike and layoff preparation training, community outreach and coalition building.
