Jean Jones Initiative seeks donations to winter-clothing drive

The federation’s Jean Jones Initiative, named after a former educator and union activist, is raising funds for its annual winter-clothing drive, organized by the federation’s nonprofit arm, the St. Paul Labor Studies and Resource Center.

To contribute, mail a check payable to LSRC, with “Jean Jones Initiative” on the memo line, to the 353 West 7th St., Suite 201, Saint Paul, MN 55102.

Proceeds are used to purchase coats and other cold-weather gear for students participating in the Saint Paul Public Schools’ Project REACH program, which serves families struggling with homelessness.

Donations will be accepted through Nov. 21, 2025. For more information, call 651-222-3787.
