The Eleventh Annual Labor bowl, held Monday, August 15, 2022, at Sun Ray Lanes, raised much-needed funds for the Regional Labor Federation’s nonprofit, the The St. Paul Labor Studies and Resource Center (LSRC), which advocates for and assists union members and their families each year in Chisago, Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties.
The LSRC, through its Community Services work, connects union members and their families to several community resources and assistance programs. The LSRC also partners with labor organizations to provide important services such as strike and lay-off preparation training, community outreach and coalition building.
Congratulations to our high score winners from all three shifts: Chris Peltier and Carrie Roth from LIUNA Local 563; Mark Nikol from Machinists Local Lodge 459 and Kate Sigrist from AFSCME Local 1842; Ron Laumeyer of ATU Local 1005 and Sheniqua Mattix of IUPAT District Council 82.
Thank you to the organizations, sponsors and bowlers who supported this fun event. By participating in the Labor Bowl, you gave back to our community – and supported an organization that supports the work of organized labor!
