It was a beautiful day for a swim Feb. 20, 2016 – just ask the hundreds of people who jumped into Forest Lake during the Rotary’s annual Winter Plunge fundraiser.
“The Godzillas,” a team of four plungers from the Regional Labor Federation, raised over $1,500 for the RLF’s nonprofit Labor Studies and Resource Center, which supports union families in financial crisis.
Team members, pictured above, are (L to R) Mary Sansom, Vicki Beebe, Pete Weber and Michael Madden.
“We hope to make this an annual event,” RLF President Bobby Kasper said.
