Kera picKera Peterson, Political Director/Campaign Manager

Kera Peterson has worked as a political organizer with the Regional Labor Federation since 2008. Prior to that time, she was an AFL-CIO Community Service liaison with the RLF and, before that, the Saint Croix Valley Central Labor Council.

Kera works mainly in Ramsey and Washington counties, organizing with affiliates and community allies in support of worker friendly public policy and labor-endorsed candidates. Michael Moore, Union Advocate Editor

Michael Moore has edited the Regional Labor Federation’s official publication, The Saint Paul Union Advocate, since July 2006. The Advocate has been published continuously since 1897, and is mailed monthly to 30,000 members of unions affiliated with the RLF. Michael has overseen efforts to preserve The Advocate’s past – check out our digital archives! – and to enhance the RLF’s presence online.

vickiVicki Beebe, Community Services liaison

Vicki Beebe joined the RLF’s Labor Studies and Resource Center in June 2012 as an AFL-CIO Community Services liaison. She has focused on developing and rebuilding relationships among workers, unions and community organizations. She also works to promote the benefits the Community Services program offers union members, and to recognize the invaluable volunteer work union members provide for their communities.

Vicki has been an active member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) for over 35 years.  Prior to joining the Labor Studies and Resource Center, she worked for Northwest and Delta airlines. Contact Vicki at


lynneLynne Larkin-Wright, Liaison

Lynne Larkin-Wright joined the Saint Paul Area Trades and Labor Assembly (the RLF’s forerunner) in 2001, serving as an AFL-CIO Community Services liaison. She is a longtime labor activist, both as a member and officer of AFSCME Local 2508 and as a delegate to the Assembly.

Lynne’s focus is connecting unions and their members to needed community resources, especially during strikes, layoffs or lockouts. Prior to her liaison work, she worked in public services and has been an AFSCME member for 30 years. Lynne has served on the Board and Fund Distribution Committee of the United Way of the St. Paul Area. She currently is a member of the Labor Strategies Committee of Greater Twin Cities United Way.
