Oktoberfest 2013 featured German food, polka music, a Wall of Beer drawing – and, most importantly, $2,000 raised for the Saint Paul RLF’s non-profit arm, the Saint Paul Labor Studies and Resource Center.

The fundraiser gives a much-needed boost to the LSRC’s Emergency Fund, which provides direct assistance to union members in financial crisis.

Congratulations to AFSCME member and RLF Seargent At Arms Jen Guertin, who held the winning ticket in the Oktoberfest Wall of Beer drawing. Big thanks to everyone who donated a 12-pack to help build the Wall of Beer and, of course, to everyone who bought drawing tickets, food or made a contribution to the LSRC during Oktoberfest.
